We admire a person who has done something great. Their work inspires many to follow their footsteps. The person whom I admire most is Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. He is also referred as the Missile Man of India. Born in the small religious town of Rameshwaram, in the southern most tip of the country, with minimal facilities, Dr Kalam worked hard to make his dreams come true. He started gaining recognition as a key scientist in Dr Vikram Saravai’s team on India’s first rocket mission. Thereafter he worked hard on his dream, he gave India her own missile. In 2002, Dr. Kalam became the 11th President of India. When I grow up, I want to be a scientist, and so I always try to follow Dr Kalam’s teachings. His life teaches us to have big dreams and then chase it as the only goal of our life. His life also teaches us that we should not give up our dreams even on failing multiple times and learn from our failure. His simple life and innocent smile made me admire him more than anyone else.
If you are asked to write a paragraph on this great personality or about your ambition, then the above few lines are enough. However it is always good to know few things about a personality like Dr Kalam so that you do not feel stupid when someone asks additional question about him.
